DISTRICT JUDGE)\n      ================================\n                       A.S.No.638 of 1994\n      ================================\n               Dated this the 7th day of April, 2009\n\n                              AWARD\n\n\n     Suit for money which was decreed in part. The plaintiff-\n\nbank has come up disputing the rate of interest awarded by the\n\ncourt. When we heard the matter in the Adalat, it is submitted\n\nthat the defendant\/borrower has already remitted the principal\n\namount of Rs.2,00,000\/-(Rupees two lakh only) to the bank. This\n\nis admitted by the plaintiff-bank. All that remains is the quantum\n\nof interest. When we put a suggestion to the bank to settle the\n\nmatter reducing\/waiving the interest, it has been fairly stated\n\nthat they will be satisfied with a sum of Rs.10,000\/-(Rupees ten\n\nthousand only) as interest in full and final settlement of\n\ntransaction. This submission is recorded.\n\n     Parties agreed for the above settlement and an Award in\n\nterms of the settlement will be passed. However, we make it\n\nclear that the respondent will pay an amount of Rs.10,000\/-\n\nwithin six weeks from today.\n\nA.S.638\/1994\n                                 2\n\n\n      Post after six weeks for reporting compliance. DISTRICT JUDGE)<br \/>\n      =================================<br \/>\n                    W.P.(C).No.18928 of 2008<br \/>\n      =================================<br \/>\n                Dated this the 8th day of April, 2009<\/p>\n<p>                             AWARD<\/p>\n<p>      Heard the petitioner and his counsel, 4th respondent and his<\/p>\n<p>counsel and also the Assistant Engineer appearing on behalf of<\/p>\n<p>the 2nd respondent. The dispute is with regard to drawing of line<\/p>\n<p>to the residence of K.J.Elikutty-5th respondent. Now the line is<\/p>\n<p>drawn through the property of the petitioner. The contention<\/p>\n<p>raised by the petitioner is that there is a common road used by<\/p>\n<p>all the respondents including the 4th and 5th respondents and line<\/p>\n<p>can be drawn through this common road. The representative of<\/p>\n<p>the Electricity Board submitted that there is no difficulty to draw<\/p>\n<p>the line through the common road. The 4th respondent has no<\/p>\n<p>objection in drawing the line in that manner. The representative<\/p>\n<p>of the Electricity Board submitted that one more post has to be<\/p>\n<p>provided which will involve expenditure of Rs.3,217.86. He also<\/p>\n<p>submitted that nobody has any objection in drawing the line<\/p>\n<p>through the common road. After discussion, the petitioner as<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).No.18928\/2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>well as the 4th respondent submitted that they will equally meet<\/p>\n<p>the expenditure relating to the additional post. Accordingly, all<\/p>\n<p>parties agreed that they have no objection in drawing the line<\/p>\n<p>through the common road by meeting additional expenditure<\/p>\n<p>equally by the petitioner and the 4th respondent. Representative<\/p>\n<p>of the Electricity Board also agreed that the connection will be<\/p>\n<p>given within a period of ten days from today.<\/p>\n<p>     The matter is settled as above.
