They are aggrieved by the action of the Kerala<\/p>\n<p>State Electricity Board in demanding electricity charges under LT-VIIA<\/p>\n<p>tariff. According to the petitioners, the petitioners are liable to pay<\/p>\n<p>electricity charges under LT-VIA tariff. They also rely on the decision of<\/p>\n<p>the Division Bench of this Court in <a href=\"\/doc\/949903\/\">Bro.Joseph Antony v. Kerala<\/p>\n<p>State Electricity Board<\/a> [2009 (3) KLT 1022],<\/p>\n<p>       2.    I have heard the learned Standing Counsel appearing for<\/p>\n<p>the KSEB also. He does not dispute the fact that the issue is covered<\/p>\n<p>by the said Division Bench decision.\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.    Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of with the<\/p>\n<p>following directions:\n<\/p>\n<p>       It is declared that the petitioners are liable to pay electricity<\/p>\n<p>charges only under LT-VIA tariff and not under LT-VIIA tariff. If the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners have paid electricity charges under LT-VIIA tariff, the<\/p>\n<p>excess amounts paid by them shall be adjusted against the future bills.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioners shall be allowed to continue to pay electricity charges<\/p>\n<p>under LT-VIA tariff. Demands impugned in these writ petitions under<\/p>\n<p>LT-VIIA tariff are hereby quashed.
