Justice P.N.RAVINDRAN\n\n Dated :17\/11\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                    P.N.RAVINDRAN, J\n                        -------------------\n               W.P.(C).32867 &amp; 32892 of 2009\n                        --------------------\n         Dated this the 17th day of November, 2009\n\n                        JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioner in W.P.(C).32867\/2009 appeared for the<\/p>\n<p>fourth semester B.Tech degree examination in Electronics<\/p>\n<p>and Communication Engineering conducted by the University<\/p>\n<p>of Calicut. The results were published in the last week of<\/p>\n<p>August 2009. The petitioner failed in the paper, &#8220;Engineering<\/p>\n<p>Mathematics&#8221;. He has therefore applied for revaluation of<\/p>\n<p>his  answer script by submitting Ext.P1 application dated<\/p>\n<p>7.9.2009. It is stated that the requisite fee has also been<\/p>\n<p>paid.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.   The petitioner in W.P.(C).32892\/2009 appeared for the<\/p>\n<p>fifth semester B.Tech degree examination       in Information<\/p>\n<p>Technology conducted by the University of Calicut in<\/p>\n<p>December 2009. The results of the said examination were<\/p>\n<p>published in the first week of October 2009. The petitioner<\/p>\n<p>failed in the paper &#8220;Graph Theory and Combinatorics&#8221;. He<\/p>\n<p>has therefore applied for revaluation of his answer script by<\/p>\n<p>submitting Ext.P1 application dated 12.10.2009.<\/p>\n<p>3.   The petitioners submit that they have completed their<\/p>\n<p>course of study and that they had done well in the<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).32867 &amp; 32892\/09<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>examination. It is also stated that if their answer scripts are<\/p>\n<p>revalued, they are hopeful of securing a pass. In these writ<\/p>\n<p>petitions, the petitioners seek expeditious revaluation of their<\/p>\n<p>answer scripts.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Sri.P.C.Sasidharan,    the  learned    standing  counsel<\/p>\n<p>appearing for the University of Calicut submits that if the<\/p>\n<p>applications for revaluation submitted by the petitioners are<\/p>\n<p>in order and the requisite fee has been paid, the University<\/p>\n<p>will take expeditious steps to revalue their answer scripts and<\/p>\n<p>to communicate result to them.
