( Oral )<\/p>\n<p>             The petitioner is working as Safai Karamchari in Market<\/p>\n<p>Committee, Sunam, since 5.11.1975. His case is that he belongs to<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled Caste category and as such is entitled to be considered for<\/p>\n<p>promotion against 20% quota for promotion to the post of Clerk amongst<\/p>\n<p>Class-IV employees. It is the case of the petitioner that he is fully eligible to<\/p>\n<p>be considered for the said promotion, but the respondents are not<\/p>\n<p>considering his claim. It is stated that in this regard, the petitioner has made<\/p>\n<p>representation dated 27.1.2009 to respondent No.2, copy of which has been<\/p>\n<p>annexed as Annexure P-2, but the same has not been considered and<\/p>\n<p>decided so far.
