The absence of bias in the<br \/>\ndecision-making process and compliance with<br \/>\naudi alteram partem are two of these facets.<br \/>\nThe doctrine of legitimate expectation is<\/p>\n<p>K)&#8217;-\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">34<\/span><br \/>\nunionism among civil service. The &#8220;legal certainty&#8221;. &#8221; <\/p>\n<p>is also a basic principleg of European&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>community. European law is based upon <\/p>\n<p>concept of vertrauensschut&#8221;z (the honouring<br \/>\na trust or con\ufb01dence). fo&#8217;r__these &#8220;reasons<br \/>\nthat the e2cisten&#8217;ceV_&amp;of a legitirnaie\u00e9expectaiion<br \/>\nmay even in the a.bsAenceij_&#8217;of awfight of private<br \/>\nlaw, justify its recognitionlin pu_blicVIau::.\n<\/p>\n<p>103. In Halsbury&#8212;&#8216;s&#8217; Laws of Erigland (4th<br \/>\nEdn.),   &#8220;legitimatecsipectation has<br \/>\nbeen\u20ac&#8217;des:cril5ecll._in thefolloiving words:<\/p>\n<p>_ _&#8221;}1&#8243;.g&#8211;vuperson\u00ab.Vp &#8220;may. have a legitimate<br \/>\n gxpectaiiogngofu being treated in a certain<br \/>\n&#8220;way by._an &#8216;~adm_inistrative authority even<br \/>\nthaulgh he._has&#8221;no7&#8217;legal right in private law<\/p>\n<p>. to receivevsuch treatment.
