Mr.K.M.Vijayakumar\n\t \t    Special Government Pleader\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>  \tThis writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct<br \/>\nthe respondent to correspondingly revise the wholesalers&#8217; selling price on<br \/>\nkerosene, in view of the increase in wholesale issue price of kerosene, with<br \/>\neffect from 01.08.2010 and to notify the same in Madurai District Gazette,<br \/>\nMadurai.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. Mr.K.M.Vijayakumar, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice<br \/>\non behalf of the respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this<br \/>\npetition and in view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the<br \/>\nrespondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner&#8217;s<br \/>\nrepresentation, dated 23.08.2010, within a period of eight weeks from the date<br \/>\nof receipt of a copy of this order.  The petitioner is directed to submit a copy<br \/>\nof the representation, dated 23.08.2010, along with a copy of this order, to the<br \/>\nrespondent. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by this order, has not<br \/>\nexpressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4.
