GIRI, J.\n            - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n                     W.P.(C).27562 of 2008\n            - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n            Dated this the 16th day of September, 2008\n\n                             JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>           The petitioners claim to be associated with<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Wushu&#8217;, a martial art, from the year 1984 and the 1st<\/p>\n<p>petitioner has won gold medals in the National Level<\/p>\n<p>Competition and has represented India in the South Asian<\/p>\n<p>Judges and Coacher Seminar.                      The petitioners are<\/p>\n<p>aggrieved by what they call as &#8220;a proposal on the part of<\/p>\n<p>the respondent Kerala State Sports Council to grant<\/p>\n<p>affiliation to the Kerala Wushu Association&#8221; headed by<\/p>\n<p>Sri.V.Santharam IPS. Ext.P3 representation in this regard<\/p>\n<p>has been filed by the petitioners herein before the Sports<\/p>\n<p>Council. The same is pending consideration.<\/p>\n<p>           2. I heard learned counsel for the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>Sri.Mohammed Ravuf and Sri.Pirappancode V.S.Sudheer on<\/p>\n<p>behalf of the Sports Council.\n<\/p>\n<p>           3. It is only appropriate that the Sports Council<\/p>\n<p>hears the petitioners before it takes a decision for<\/p>\n<p>recognition\/affiliation of any association by name Kerala<\/p>\n<p>State Wushu Association headed by Sri.V.Santharam IPS.<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).27562 of 2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                             -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>           In the result, the writ petition is disposed of<\/p>\n<p>directing the respondent to consider Ext.P3, hear the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners, before taking a decision in the matter of<\/p>\n<p>granting affiliation\/recognition to the Kerala State Wushu<\/p>\n<p>Association, in accordance with law, provided, no such<\/p>\n<p>decision has been taken, as on date.
