This appeal under clause 10 of the Letters Patent<\/p>\n<p>                 of the High Court of Judicature of Patna has been preferred by the<\/p>\n<p>                 petitioner of CWJC No. 15421 of 2007, and is aggrieved by the order<\/p>\n<p>                 dated 24.6.2010, passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court,<\/p>\n<p>                 whereby the writ petition has been dismissed and the order of the<\/p>\n<p>                 respondent authorities dispensing with the services of the appellant on<\/p>\n<p>                 the ground of abandonment of the job has been upheld.<\/p>\n<p>                             2.     We have perused the materials on record and<\/p>\n<p>                 considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties. It<\/p>\n<p>                 appears to us that the appellant&#8217;s father was in the services of the<\/p>\n<p>                 Bihar Government. He died while still in harness leading to the<\/p>\n<p>                 appellant&#8217;s appointment on compassionate ground in March 1989.<\/p>\n<p>                 While he was undergoing training at Muzaffarpur camp, he left the<\/p>\n<p>                 centre on 26.3.93 without any information to the authorities. After<\/p>\n<p>                 waiting for four years, the respondent authorities declared him as<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      absconder and dismissed him from service. The appellant&#8217;s plea of<\/p>\n<p>      being absent for such a long time on the ground of psychological<\/p>\n<p>      treatment has been rejected by the learned Single Judge as an attempt<\/p>\n<p>      to cover up his absence without information or prior permission from<\/p>\n<p>      the competent authorities. The learned Single Judge has examined the<\/p>\n<p>      medical certificate produced by the appellant and is of the view that<\/p>\n<p>      the same is a got up document to cover up his case and not worthy of<\/p>\n<p>      reliance. The learned Single Judge has found that the appellant has<\/p>\n<p>      acted similarly in the past also. We, therefore, agree with the order of<\/p>\n<p>      the respondent authorities which has rightly been upheld by the<\/p>\n<p>      learned Single Judge.\n<\/p>\n<p>                  3.
