(Oral)\n<\/pre>\n<p>             The father of the petitioner was working as Beldar in the<br \/>\nMunicipal Council, Karnal. He expired on 12.10.2005 after serving about<br \/>\n27 years. Counsel for the petitioner states that the father of the petitioner<br \/>\nwas regular employee of the Municipal Council.\n<\/p>\n<p>             It is the case of the petitioner that after the death of his father,<br \/>\nthe petitioner is entitled for ex-gratia compassionate appointment or the ex-<br \/>\ngratia compassionate financial assistance as per Haryana Government<br \/>\nEmployees Rules, 2006. It is further the case of the petitioner that in spite of<br \/>\nthe fact that he had applied for the same, the said benefit has not been<br \/>\ngranted to him. In this regard the petitioner has served a legal notice dated<br \/>\n13.8.2008 (Annexure P3) upon respondent No.2.
