Justice C.T.RAVIKUMAR\n\n Dated :21\/12\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n         KURIAN JOSEPH &amp; C.T.RAVIKUMAR, JJ.\n            -----------------------------------------\n                 W.P.(C).No.36417 of 2009\n            -----------------------------------------\n       Dated this the 21st day of December, 2009\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Kurian Joseph,J.\n<\/p>\n<p>    The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:<\/p>\n<p>          &#8221; Issue a writ of mandamus or any other<\/p>\n<p>    appropriate direction or order direction the respondents 1<\/p>\n<p>    to 3 to grant adequate police protection to the petitioner&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>    unit for conducting the quarrying operations in the<\/p>\n<p>    property in Sy.No.240\/7 of Chittagode Ward without any<\/p>\n<p>    hindrance from the part of the fourth respondent union or<\/p>\n<p>    his men or agents&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<p>    2.    In case the petitioner is conducting the<\/p>\n<p>    quarrying in accordance with the license\/permit and<\/p>\n<p>    in accordance with law, there shall not be any<\/p>\n<p>    obstruction. The petitioner has given names of his<\/p>\n<p>    five employees as regular employees. In case<\/p>\n<p>    additional manpower is required the same shall be<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).No.36417 of 2009<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      obtained from the members of fourth respondent<\/p>\n<p>      union including for the loading and unloading works.<\/p>\n<p>      There will be a direction to the Secretary, Ezhukone<\/p>\n<p>      Grama Panchayat to see that the petitioner functions<\/p>\n<p>      the    quarrying    unit  only  with   the    required<\/p>\n<p>      licence\/permit.\n<\/p>\n<p>            3.     Subject to the above direction, in case<\/p>\n<p>      there is still any obstruction police shall render<\/p>\n<p>      necessary assistance.
