M. SAHAI)<\/p>\n<p>1.\tHeard<br \/>\nlearned counsel for the appellant and Mr.N.J.Shah, learned AGP for<br \/>\nrespondent No.1-State.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.\tThe<br \/>\nrespondents found that there was mis-appropriation of some amount<br \/>\nwith regard to installation of sub-standard pipes. By the punishment<br \/>\norder dated 21.4.1994, the authority awarded punishment to recover<br \/>\nRs.100\/- p.m. from the salary of the appellant for a period of 5<br \/>\nyears. That means, a total amount of Rs.6,000\/- was to be recovered<br \/>\nfrom the appellant.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.\tThe<br \/>\nappellant challenged the punishment order by means of Special Civil<br \/>\nApplication No.6572 of 1994. Before the punishment order was passed<br \/>\non 21.4.1994, the appellant had already retired in the year 1990. The<br \/>\nlearned Single Judge has found that the charge against the appellant<br \/>\nwith regard to mis-appropriation of fund was found to be proved and<br \/>\nafter considering the evidence on record, the learned Single Judge<br \/>\nrefused to interfere with the punishment order.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.\tWe<br \/>\nfind no reason to interfere with the impugned order dated 4.5.2010<br \/>\npassed by the learned Single Judge.
