No. 13266\/09, which is an application\nunder Section 5 of the Limitation Act for condonation of delay\nin preferring this appeal.\n        The appeal is reported to be barred by 2 days.\n        For the reasons stated in the application, same is\nallowed. The delay in preferring the appeal is condoned.\n        Heard on the question of admission.\n        Being dissatisfied with the award dated 2.5.2009,\npassed by 13th Addl. M.A.C.T. Bhopal (hereinafter referred to\nas Tribunal) in M.C.C. No. 1881\/08, appellants have preferred\nthis appeal for enhancement of compensation.\n        Appellants\/claimants preferred a claim for compensation\nto the tune of Rs. 30,50,000\/-, on account of death of\nSangeeta Sahare in the motor accident due to rash and\nnegligent driving of jeep No. MP 28-A\/2257 by respondent<\/pre>\n<p>No.1,      owned by respondent No.2 and insured with<br \/>\nrespondent No.3.\n<\/p>\n<p>        Deceased Sangeeta Sahare was the wife of appellant<br \/>\nNo.1 and mother of appellants No. 2 to 6. She was aged<br \/>\nabout 48 years.      There was no positive evidence of her<br \/>\nmonthly income, however the Tribunal assessed the monthly<br \/>\nincome of the deceased to be Rs. 3,000\/- per month and after<br \/>\ndeducting one third amount towards her personal expenses,<br \/>\napplying the multiplier of 13, awarded total compensation of<br \/>\nRs.3,12,000\/- to the appellants\/claimants.\n<\/p>\n<p>       Learned counsel for the appellants submitted that the<br \/>\ncompensation awarded was inadequate.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Looking to the age of the deceased, the proper<br \/>\nmultiplier was applied by the tribunal. Deceased was a house<br \/>\nhold lady, her income was correctly assessed at the rate of<br \/>\nRs.3,000\/- per month and just compensation has been<br \/>\nawarded in the facts and circumstances of the case.\n<\/p>\n<p>      No case for enhancement of compensation to the<br \/>\nappellants is made out.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Appeal is dismissed summarily.\n<\/p>\n<p>                          (Smt.
