SHIVANNA <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=CHAMRAJANAGAR\">CHAMRAJANAGAR<\/a>): The border problem between Karnataka and Maharashtra has come up again.\u00a0 It is most unfortunate that the Belgaum Municipal Corporation has passed a resolution stating that Belgaum should be transferred to Maharashtra.\u00a0 Now, there is the problem of law and order at the border areas. Agitations are held on both sides.\u00a0 These should be stopped forthwith.\u00a0\u00a0 Common people should not become the target of some of these unlawful elements.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our forefathers, freedom fighters, rulers like Kittur Ranichennamma fought for the freedom of the country as a whole and not for any one State.\u00a0 This fact realized by both the States and the Centre.\u00a0 They have to find out a permanent solution to this long pending problem.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hence, I request the Central Government to implement the Mahajan Commission\u2019s Report in toto without any further delay.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Need To Implement Mahajan Commission\u00e2\u20ac\u2122S Report Of Finding A &#8230; on 23 December, 2005 &gt; Title : Need to implement Mahajan Commission\u2019s Report of finding a permanent solution to the border dispute between Karnataka and Maharashtra.
