Prajapati, Jr. Staff Officer and Shri S.K. Pandey, JSO.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.     The appellant filed RTI-request dated 16.6.2010, addressed to MHA seeking<br \/>\ninformation on eleven RTI-queries pertaining to monthly crime statistics, transfer\/posting of<br \/>\nSPs in the Districts etc. The CPIO, MHA vide O.M. No. A-43020\/01\/2010-RTI dated<br \/>\n10.6.2010 has transferred the RTI-request to the MHA, National Crime Records Bureau<br \/>\n(NCRB), New Delhi. The CPIO, MHA, NCRB vide letter No. OPS(104)\/22\/05\/NCRB dated<br \/>\n30.6.2010 has replied to the appellant for Point No.1 stating that the appellant has to<br \/>\nspecify the years\/ districts\/ months\/ crime head for which the information can be<br \/>\ngenerated, which can be made available on CDs. For rest of points the CPIO, NCRB again<br \/>\nsent the RTI-request to MHA vide letter dated 21.6.2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.     Aggrieved by the decision of CPIO, the appellant filed first-appeal on 18.7.2010<br \/>\nbefore AA, MHA. The AA, MHA decided appellant&#8217;s first-appeal vide order No.A-<br \/>\n43020\/44\/2009-RTI dated 30.8.2010 pertaining to the RTI-queries relating to MHA and<br \/>\ntransferred to AA, NCRB for taking necessary action for the RTI-queries pertaining to<br \/>\n NCRB. The AA, NCRB vide order No. APP\/DD(A&amp;T)\/NCRB\/10 dated 22.9.2010 has<br \/>\ndecided appellant&#8217;s first-appeal, who upheld the decision of CPIO, NCRB.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                             -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>                                                          Case No. CIC\/SS\/A\/2010\/001097<\/p>\n<p>4.       During the hearing the respondents submitted that the appellant has not indicated<br \/>\nthe period for which he wanted the information. The appellant submitted that he wanted<br \/>\ninformation for the years 2008 and 2009.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.
