S.J. MUKHOPADHAYA)<\/p>\n<p>\tMs.\n<\/p>\n<p>V.D. Nanavati, counsel for respondent No.5 submits that the families<br \/>\ndisplaced will be allotted plots and will be paid compensation to the<br \/>\ntune of Rs. 5,000\/- to each family for construction of new shelter,<br \/>\nwithin one week.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tLearned<br \/>\ncounsel for the petitioners submits that the compensation to which<br \/>\nthe families are entitled as per Government of India, Ministry of<br \/>\nHome Affair&#8217;s decision dated 27.4.2007 has not been paid, nor the<br \/>\norder to provide benefit to persons as per Government of India<br \/>\ndecision dated 4th May, 2008 has been  complied with by<br \/>\nthe State.\n<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Champaneri, counsel appearing for the Union of India submits that<br \/>\nCentral Government has released fund in favour of the State for<br \/>\npayment of compensation.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tIn<br \/>\nthe facts and circumstances, we direct the respondents to file their<br \/>\nrespective affidavits showing compliance with regard to settlement of<br \/>\nland, payment of compensation of Rs. 5,000\/-, payment of compensation<br \/>\nin terms of Government of India decision dated 27.4.2007 and steps if<br \/>\nany, taken pursuant to Government of India decision dated 14.5.2007,<br \/>\nfor providing employment\/or pensionary benefit to those who have left<br \/>\njobs due to riots and crossed age of super-annuation.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tLet<br \/>\ncopy of this order be handed over to Ms. V.D.
