Justice C.N.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR\n\n Dated :31\/07\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                   C.N.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J.\n                        -------------------------\n                     W.P.(C) No.21764 of 2003\n                    ---------------------------------\n              Dated, this the 31st day of July, 2008\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      Petitioner is in this Court, a second round, challenging demand<\/p>\n<p>of arrears of tax for the period commencing from 01\/07\/1999 to<\/p>\n<p>30\/06\/2000. Even though petitioner has a case that the vehicle<\/p>\n<p>was repossessed by the financier and consequently petitioner is<\/p>\n<p>entitled to exemption based on Form G furnished, learned<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader submitted that in the course of enquiry by the<\/p>\n<p>RTO, the financier confirmed that vehicle was not repossessed by<\/p>\n<p>them as claimed by petitioner. Consequently demand is sustained.<\/p>\n<p>In the circumstances, the writ petition is devoid of any merit and is<\/p>\n<p>dismissed.
