BASANT, J.\n\n            -------------------------------------------------\n\n                   W.P.(C) NO. 2832 OF 2007-K\n\n            -------------------------------------------------\n\n          Dated this the 26th day of February, 2007\n\n\n                            JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">     The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased, one<\/p>\n<p>Kshemakumar.     He   allegedly   met   with   his   unnatural   death<\/p>\n<p>consequent   to   an   accident   on   14\/1\/06.       A   crime   was<\/p>\n<p>registered under Sec.174 of the <a href=\"\/doc\/445276\/\" id=\"a_1\">Cr.P.C<\/a>.   Investigation was in<\/p>\n<p>progress.   Ext.P9   report   has   been   submitted               by   the<\/p>\n<p>Investigating Officer.    It has not accepted so far.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">     2.     The petitioner has come to this Court with a prayer<\/p>\n<p>that directions may be issued for the conduct of a proper and<\/p>\n<p>efficient investigation in the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">\n<p id=\"p_3\">     3.   Notice was given.     The  learned  Public  Prosecutor<\/p>\n<p>has   entered   appearance   for   the   respondents.       The   6th<\/p>\n<p>respondent   has   filed   a   statement   to   which   Ext.R6(a)   is<\/p>\n<p>appended   which   shows   that   the   Superintendent   of   Police,<\/p>\n<p>Ernakulam   (Rural)   has   directed   that   the   Deputy<\/p>\n<p>Superintendent   of   Police,   Narcotic   Cell,   Ernakulam   Rural<\/p>\n<p>(Aluva) shall take over the investigation.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">W.P.(C) NO. 2832 OF 2007-K  -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">        4.     The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in<\/p>\n<p>view of the said order, the petitioner has no surviving grievance.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner bona fide expects that a proper investigation shall<\/p>\n<p>be   conducted   as   directed   by   the   4th  respondent.     In   these<\/p>\n<p>circumstances,     no   further   directions   are   necessary   in   the<\/p>\n<p>matter, submits the learned counsel for the petitioner.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">        5.  Advocate Mr. K.B. Suresh on behalf of one Mohankumar<\/p>\n<p>against   whom  the   petitioner   appears   to   have   raised   allegations<\/p>\n<p>wants to come on record.   The learned counsel   submits that his<\/p>\n<p>client   also   welcomes   a   thorough,   complete   and   proper<\/p>\n<p>investigation   in   the   matter.         Baseless   allegations   have   been<\/p>\n<p>raised against him, it is submitted.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">\n<p id=\"p_7\">        6.     Inasmuch   as     the   4th  respondent   has   already   taken<\/p>\n<p>necessary   action   in   the   matter,   I   am   satisfied   that   no   further<\/p>\n<p>directions are to be issued in the matter.   Proper investigation in<\/p>\n<p>accordance with  law shall   be conducted  by  the   officer   who has<\/p>\n<p>been directed under Ext.R2(a)  to take up the investigation.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_8\">        7.
