Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :17\/07\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                           V.GIRI, J\n                         -------------------\n                     W.P.(C).15174\/2008\n                        --------------------\n           Dated this the 17th day of July, 2008\n\n                        JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Petitioners, who are included in the rank list<\/p>\n<p>published by the PSC for the post of Assistant Salesman in<\/p>\n<p>the Civil Supplies Corporation, have approached this<\/p>\n<p>Court for a direction to the first respondent to report the<\/p>\n<p>entire vacancies to the PSC. A statement has been filed on<\/p>\n<p>behalf of R1. It is so indicated in the said statement:-<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>           Subsequently, the Government as per<\/p>\n<p>      G.O.(MS).No.17\/2007\/F.CS &amp; CAD                dated<\/p>\n<p>      14.5.2007 accorded sanction to fill up the<\/p>\n<p>      vacancies of Assistant Salesman which has<\/p>\n<p>      already been reported to the PSC, before the<\/p>\n<p>      issuance      of    order        dated    3.2.2007.<\/p>\n<p>      Accordingly,       7 vacancies of Assistant<\/p>\n<p>      Salesmen in Idukki District have already<\/p>\n<p>      been reported to the PSC              and advice is<\/p>\n<p>      awaiting.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>           It is submitted that the sanctioned<\/p>\n<p>      strength of Assistant Salesmen is taken on<\/p>\n<p>      state-wide basis. At present no temporary<\/p>\n<p>      hands are occupying in the sanctioned posts<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).15174\/2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>       of Assistant Salesmen. The review of staff<\/p>\n<p>       pattern is pending with the Government.<\/p>\n<p>       So further     appointment to the post of<\/p>\n<p>       Salesmen in Kerala State Civil Supplies<\/p>\n<p>       Corporation can be done only after the<\/p>\n<p>       review is finalized by the Government.<\/p>\n<p>     Submission is recorded. In the result, PSC shall<\/p>\n<p>proceed to issue advice memo          in relation to the<\/p>\n<p>vacancies already reported.
