Respondents\n\nPRAYER :  Original Application No.10273 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to direct the respondents to promote the applicant as Assistant with effect from 2.9.1996 with effect from date of promotion of the applicants junior as Assistant and further direct the respondents to award all the consequential benefits.  Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition. \n\n\t\t        For Petitioner\t:  Mr.K.Thennan\n\n\t\t        For Respondents \t:   Mr.B.Vijay,\t\t\t\t\t\t            \t\t    Government Advocate.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\t\tThe petitioner has filed the original application in the year 1998, praying to direct the respondents to promote the applicant as Assistant with effect from 2.9.1996 with effect from the date of promotion of the petitioner&#8217;s junior as Assistant and further direct the respondents to award all the consequential benefits.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\t\t2.At the time of final hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner pleads that the representation made on 10.3.1998, should be considered by the first respondent and disposed of on merits.  In view of the limited prayer sought for, the petitioner is given liberty to make further representation, if the grievance still subsists and the same shall be considered and disposed of on merits by the respondents within a reasonable period of time preferably within three months from the date of receipt of such representation.
