Notice to respondents 3 and 4 dispensed with preserving<\/p>\n<p>their right to move for review of this judgment, if aggrieved.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      The petitioner, claiming promotion to a particular post, has<\/p>\n<p>filed Exts.P1 and P2 before the employer society. It is stated by<\/p>\n<p>him that the qualification has to be determined on the date of<\/p>\n<p>occurrence of vacancy.          Anyway, the issue raised is one in<\/p>\n<p>relation to service of the petitioner in a co-operative society. The<\/p>\n<p>4th respondent being the employer has to give its decision on the<\/p>\n<p>request of the petitioner.         Therefore, let Exts.P1 and P2 be<\/p>\n<p>decided upon by the society within an outer limit of one month<\/p>\n<p>from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and a copy of<\/p>\n<p>this writ petition. If the decision is against the interest of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, the reasons thereof shall also be stated, so that the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner can pursue appropriate remedies by way of arbitration<\/p>\n<p>WPC.4602\/09<\/p>\n<p>                          Page numbers<\/p>\n<p>since that is the procedure to dissolve any such dispute. All<\/p>\n<p>other issues are left open.
