In\u00a0this\u00a0case,\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0had,\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0application\u00a0dated\u00a06\u00a0January\u00a02009,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>requested \u00a0 the \u00a0 CPIO \u00a0 for \u00a0 a \u00a0 few \u00a0 pieces \u00a0 of \u00a0 information \u00a0 regarding \u00a0 both \u00a0 the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>employees\u00a0who\u00a0had\u00a0gone\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0court\u00a0against\u00a0their\u00a0compulsory\u00a0retirement\u00a0and\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>those\u00a0against\u00a0whom\u00a0disciplinary\u00a0proceedings\u00a0had\u00a0been\u00a0initiated\u00a0for\u00a0violation\u00a0of\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Regulation\u00a021.\u00a0The\u00a0CPIO,\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0letter\u00a0dated\u00a02\u00a0February\u00a02009,\u00a0furnished\u00a0some\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>information,\u00a0while\u00a0denying\u00a0some\u00a0others\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0ground\u00a0that\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0exempted\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>from\u00a0disclosure\u00a0under\u00a0Sections\u00a08\u00a0(1)\u00a0(e)\u00a0&amp;\u00a0(j)\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Right\u00a0to\u00a0Information\u00a0(RTI)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Act.\u00a0Against\u00a0the\u00a0response\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO,\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0preferred\u00a0an\u00a0appeal\u00a0on\u00a018\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>February\u00a02009.\u00a0The\u00a0Appellate\u00a0Authority,\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0order\u00a0dated\u00a03\u00a0April\u00a02009,\u00a0largely\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>endorsed \u00a0 the \u00a0 stand \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 CPIO \u00a0 but \u00a0 directed \u00a0 him \u00a0 to \u00a0 furnish \u00a0 some \u00a0 more\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CIC\/SM\/A\/2009\/001401<br \/>\n information.\u00a0It\u00a0is\u00a0against\u00a0this\u00a0order\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0has\u00a0come\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0CIC\u00a0in\u00a0a\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>second\u00a0appeal.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\n<p id=\"p_2\">3.      We \u00a0 heard \u00a0 this \u00a0 case \u00a0 through \u00a0 videoconferencing. \u00a0 The \u00a0 Appellant \u00a0 was\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Ambala\u00a0studio\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0NIC.\u00a0The\u00a0Respondents\u00a0were\u00a0present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kolkata\u00a0studio.\u00a0We\u00a0heard\u00a0their\u00a0submissions.\u00a0At\u00a0the\u00a0outset,\u00a0the\u00a0Respondents\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>argued \u00a0 that \u00a0 the \u00a0 information \u00a0 regarding \u00a0 those \u00a0 employees \u00a0 against \u00a0 whom\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>disciplinary\u00a0proceedings\u00a0might\u00a0have\u00a0been\u00a0initiated\u00a0for\u00a0violation\u00a0of\u00a0Regulation\u00a021\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>was\u00a0never\u00a0maintained\u00a0centrally\u00a0and\u00a0it\u00a0would\u00a0not\u00a0be\u00a0possible\u00a0to\u00a0provide\u00a0this\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>information\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0manner\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0had\u00a0sought.\u00a0In\u00a0regard\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0information\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>regarding \u00a0 those \u00a0 employees \u00a0 who \u00a0 might \u00a0 have \u00a0 gone \u00a0 to \u00a0 court \u00a0 against \u00a0 their\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>compulsory\u00a0 retirement\u00a0 from\u00a0 the \u00a0 bank,\u00a0 the \u00a0 Respondents\u00a0 also \u00a0 submitted \u00a0 that\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>such\u00a0information\u00a0was\u00a0not\u00a0available\u00a0at\u00a0one\u00a0place\u00a0and\u00a0would\u00a0have\u00a0to\u00a0be\u00a0collected\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>from\u00a0all\u00a0over\u00a0the\u00a0bank\u00a0which\u00a0would\u00a0be\u00a0a\u00a0very\u00a0time\u00adconsuming\u00a0task\u00a0and\u00a0could\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>easily\u00a0divert\u00a0the\u00a0resources\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0bank\u00a0rather\u00a0disproportionately.\u00a0As\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0last\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>information,\u00a0namely,\u00a0the\u00a0copy\u00a0of\u00a0a\u00a0particular\u00a0letter\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0authority\u00a0of\u00a0which\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>charge\u00a0sheet\u00a0had\u00a0been\u00a0issued\u00a0against\u00a0him,\u00a0the\u00a0Respondents\u00a0agreed\u00a0to\u00a0look\u00a0for\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>the\u00a0relevant\u00a0documents\u00a0and\u00a0provide\u00a0a\u00a0copy\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">4.      We,\u00a0 therefore,\u00a0 direct \u00a0 the \u00a0 CPIO\u00a0 to \u00a0 provide\u00a0 to \u00a0 the \u00a0 Appellant\u00a0 within\u00a0 10\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>working \u00a0 days \u00a0 from \u00a0 the \u00a0 receipt \u00a0 of \u00a0 this \u00a0 order \u00a0 a \u00a0 photocopy \u00a0 of \u00a0 the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>document\/record\/order\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0authority\u00a0of\u00a0which\u00a0the\u00a0charge\u00a0sheet\u00a0had\u00a0been\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>issued\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">\n<p id=\"p_5\">5.      During\u00a0the\u00a0course\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0hearing,\u00a0the\u00a0Appellant\u00a0drew\u00a0our\u00a0attention\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>fact\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0Commission\u00a0had\u00a0earlier\u00a0considered\u00a0three\u00a0separate\u00a0appeals\u00a0filed\u00a0by\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>him\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0past\u00a0in\u00a0its\u00a0order\u00a0on\u00a02\u00a0July\u00a02008\u00a0in\u00a0which\u00a0it\u00a0had\u00a0directed\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0to\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>provide\u00a0him\u00a0with\u00a0some\u00a0information.\u00a0He\u00a0submitted\u00a0that\u00a0no\u00a0information\u00a0had\u00a0been\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CIC\/SM\/A\/2009\/001401<br \/>\n provided\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0order\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CIC\u00a0remained\u00a0unimplemented.\u00a0The\u00a0Respondents\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>submitted\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0said\u00a0order\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CIC\u00a0was\u00a0fully\u00a0complied\u00a0with.\u00a0In\u00a0view\u00a0of\u00a0this,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>we\u00a0also\u00a0direct\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0to\u00a0forward\u00a0a\u00a0copy\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0information\u00a0which\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>might\u00a0have\u00a0sent\u00a0earlier\u00a0in\u00a0compliance\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CIC\u00a0order\u00a0dated\u00a02\u00a0July\u00a02008.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">6.      The\u00a0appeal\u00a0is,\u00a0thus,\u00a0disposed\u00a0off.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_7\">7.
