V.Vijayakumar,\n\t\t\t\tSpecial Govt. Pleader.\n\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\tHeard Mr.F.X.Eugene, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and<br \/>\nMr. K.V. Vijayakumar the  learned Special Government Pleader for  respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\t2. By consent of counsel on either side these writ petitions are  taken up<br \/>\nfor final hearing.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">\t3. In the order, impugned notice dated 27.2.2006, under which the<br \/>\npetitioners were temporarily appointed as drivers, the  respondent has directed<br \/>\nthe petitioners to appear and join duty before the General Manager, Tamil Nadu<br \/>\nTransport Corporation, Madurai Limited, Tirunelveli on 10.3.2006. However when<br \/>\nthey approached for joining duty as per the appointment order they were not<br \/>\nallowed to join duty stating that the election is under process and as per the<br \/>\nChief Electoral Officer  instruction, these appointments cannot be made.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">\t4. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners<br \/>\nappointment order shall be given effect after election process is over.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">\t5.With this observation, these writ petitions are disposed of. There is no<br \/>\norder as to cost.
