Railway Minister and the hon. Minister of Water Resources regarding the vulnerable condition of the Samudragarh and Kalinagar railway stations on\u00a0 the Bandel-Katwa railway of West Bengal and taking urgent necessary steps, I want to draw the attention of the House with grave concern that these two stations are only 40 metres away from the mighty Ganga while five years ago, the Ganga was two kilometres away from these stations.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I raised the serious concern during all the Sessions, namely, on 09.12.2006, 13.08.2007 and 14.08.2007 and also again I draw the attention of the House today for giving immediate importance to the gravity of the situation since it goes out of the hands.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is a matter of great regret that neither the Railway Department nor the Water Resources Department has taken any steps regarding the same till day.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Now, again I solemnly demand the Ministry of Railways as well as the Ministry of Water Resources to take all steps to save the two stations as well as Bandel-Katwa railway without further delay.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">MADAM CHAIRMAN\u00a0:\u00a0 The House stands adjourned to meet tomorrow, the 23rd November, 2007 at 1100 a.m.   <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p> 18.54 hrs.
