SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                 ------------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C)No.9581 OF 2008\n               ----------------------------------------\n                 Dated this the 5th day of June, 2008\n\n                            JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      The petitioner was proceeded against by the 5th respondent<\/p>\n<p>for amounts due under the Kerala Panchayati Raj Act.            The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner filed a suit challenging the same, inter alia, on the<\/p>\n<p>ground of limitation, the same was dismissed in view of<\/p>\n<p>amendment to Section 72, whereby the jurisdiction of the Civil<\/p>\n<p>Court was taken away and instead a right of taking up the matter<\/p>\n<p>with the Board of Revenue was incorporated. The petitioner now<\/p>\n<p>submits that he has filed Ext.P10 before the Commissioner of<\/p>\n<p>Land Revenue, who exercises functions of the Board of Revenue<\/p>\n<p>after abolition of the Board of Revenue. The petitioner seeks a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P10 expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      2.    I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.<\/p>\n<p>      In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this<\/p>\n<p>writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and<\/p>\n<p>pass orders on Ext.P10 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate,<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">W.P.(c)No.9581\/08                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a<\/p>\n<p>copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being<\/p>\n<p>heard to the petitioner. Till orders are so passed, the interim<\/p>\n<p>stay granted by this Court shall continue to be in force,<\/p>\n<p>provided the petitioner has remitted an amount of Rs.25,000\/-<\/p>\n<p>as directed by order dated, 24.3.2008. The petitioner shall<\/p>\n<p>forward a certified copy of this judgment along with a copy of<\/p>\n<p>the writ petition to the 1st respondent for compliance.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">                                         S.
