RAMKUMAR, J.\n                   .........................................\n                      B.A. No. 1340 of 2009\n                   ..........................................\n            Dated this the 23rd day of March, 2009\n\n                                  ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      Petitioners    who         are       the       accused    in    Crime<\/p>\n<p>No. 552 of 2008 of South Police Station, Alappuzha for offences<\/p>\n<p>punishable under Sections 420 and 406 r\/w <a href=\"\/doc\/37788\/\" id=\"a_1\">Section 34<\/a> I.P.C.,<\/p>\n<p>seek anticipatory bail.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      2.    The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      3.     Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this<\/p>\n<p>nature.   But at the same time,             I am inclined to permit the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners to surrender before the Investigating Officer for the<\/p>\n<p>purpose of interrogation and then to have their application for<\/p>\n<p>bail  considered    by     the     Magistrate            having jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly,   the    petitioners        shall     surrender   before    the<\/p>\n<p>investigating officer on any day between 28-3-2009 and 31-3-<\/p>\n<p>2009 for the purpose of interrogation and                      recovery of<\/p>\n<p>incriminating material, if any. The petitioners shall thereafter be<\/p>\n<p>produced on the same day before the Magistrate concerned. On<\/p>\n<p>being convinced that the petitioners have been interrogated by<\/p>\n<p>B.A. No. 1340\/2009<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">                                  -:2:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the police, the Magistrate shall release the petitioners on bail on<\/p>\n<p>each of them executing a bond for Rs. 25,000\/- (Rupees twenty<\/p>\n<p>five thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like<\/p>\n<p>amount to the satisfaction of the Magistrate and subject to the<\/p>\n<p>following conditions:-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"blockquote_1\"><p>             1.    The petitioners      shall report before the<br \/>\n             Investigating Officer between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on<br \/>\n             all Wednesdays.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote id=\"blockquote_1\"><p>             2. The petitioners shall make themselves available<br \/>\n             for interrogation including custodial interrogation as<br \/>\n             and when required by the Investigating Officer.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote id=\"blockquote_2\"><p>             3.    Petitioners shall not influence or intimidate the<br \/>\n             prosecution witnesses nor shall they attempt to<br \/>\n             tamper with the evidence for the prosecution.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote id=\"blockquote_3\"><p>             4.    Petitioners shall not commit any offence while<br \/>\n             on bail.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote id=\"blockquote_4\"><p>              5.
