Rana\n                                                    H.No. 429, Khera Kala\n                                                    New Delhi-110081\n\nRespondent                                  :       Public Information Officer,\n                                                    Superintending Engineer,\n                                                    Municipal Corporation of Delhi\n                                                    Narela, North Zone\nFacts<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\"> arising from the Complaint:\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">         Mr. G.S. Rana had filed a RTI application with the PIO, Superintending Engineer,<br \/>\nMunicipal Corporation of Delhi, Narela, North Zone on 24\/10\/2008 asking for certain<br \/>\ninformation. Since no reply was received within the mandated time of 30 days, he had<br \/>\nfiled a complaint under Section 18 to the Commission.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">         The Commission issued a notice to the PIO on 01\/05\/2009 asking him to supply<br \/>\nthe information by 30\/05\/2009 and sought an explanation for not furnishing the<br \/>\ninformation within the mandated time. The PIO has informed the Commission vide letter<br \/>\ndated 25\/05\/2009 that the information had been provided to the complainant on<br \/>\n11\/02\/2009.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">Decision:\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">The Complaint is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">       The Commission condones the delay and warns the PIO to ensure that<br \/>\ninformation is given to applicants with in 30 days as mandated under Section 7 (1) of the<br \/>\nRTI act.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">                                                                                 Shailesh Gandhi<br \/>\n                                                                       Information Commissioner<br \/>\n                                                                                   June 26, 2009.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_7\">For any further communication with the Commission please mention the decision No. given at the top.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Central Information Commission Mr. G.S.
