No.   315     of 2008\n                                 in\n                     W.P.(C) No.6546 of 2008 D\n                    = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n               Dated this the 17th day of March, 2008\n\n                             O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      The writ petition was disposed of by judgment dated<\/p>\n<p>26.2.2008 directing disposal of Ext. P14 application made by the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner under Section 19(3)(b) of the Kerala Forest (Vesting and<\/p>\n<p>Management of Ecologically Fragile Land) Act, 2003 within 6 months<\/p>\n<p>from the date of production of a copy of that judgment.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      2.    This Review Petition has subsequently been filed<\/p>\n<p>pointing out that in terms of Rule 20 of the Rules, the period for<\/p>\n<p>disposal of an application under Section 19(3)(b) is 3 months and<\/p>\n<p>therefore, the period fixed should be reduced.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      3. I heard counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Govt.<\/p>\n<p>Pleader appearing for the respondents.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">      4. It is true as pointed out by the counsel for the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>that in terms of the rules the maximum period fixed for disposal of<\/p>\n<p>R.P. No. 315\/08 in WP(C) No. 6546 OF 2008<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">                                           &#8211; 2 &#8211;\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">the application is 3 months. If that be so, there is no justification in<\/p>\n<p>fixing a longer time for the disposal of the application.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">          5.       Accordingly, I dispose of this Review Petition modifying<\/p>\n<p>the judgment and directing that the 2nd respondent shall consider<\/p>\n<p>Ext.
