Justice KURIAN JOSEPH\n\n Dated :23\/05\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                           KURIAN JOSEPH, J.\n                 ---------------------------------------\n                     W.P.(C) No. 12698 OF 2004\n                 ---------------------------------------\n               Dated this the 23rd day of May, 2008.\n\n\n                             J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      This writ petition is filed with the following prayer:<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      i)     Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction<\/p>\n<p>      compelling and commanding the respondents to disburse<\/p>\n<p>      petitioner&#8217;s pensionary benefits for the period from 10.07.1972<\/p>\n<p>      to 30.07.1984, the period in which he worked in the service of<\/p>\n<p>      6th respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">Learned Government Pleader referring to the exhibits submits<\/p>\n<p>that the service book is missing. It is more than four years now.<\/p>\n<p>In case the service book is missing, there will be a direction to<\/p>\n<p>the second respondent to take steps to reconstruct the service<\/p>\n<p>book and do the needful considering the prior service rendered by<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner as certified by the competent authority.
