SURENDRA MOHAN, J.\n               ------------------------------------------------------------\n                       W.P(C) NO: 5360 OF 2010 T\n                -----------------------------------------------------------\n                Dated this the 18th February, 2010.\n\n                                    JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      The petitioner met with an accident involving a KSRTC bus on<\/p>\n<p>7.8.2000 and sustained injuries. As per the award of the Motor<\/p>\n<p>Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kollam in O.P(MV) No: 1472\/2000 the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner has been awarded a compensation of Rs.43,600\/- with<\/p>\n<p>7.5% interest. However, the complaint is that the award amount<\/p>\n<p>has not been paid, till date.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      2.  The Standing Counsel for the KSRTC submits that the<\/p>\n<p>award amount would be paid within a period of three months.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      3.  In view of the above this writ petition is disposed of<\/p>\n<p>directing the respondent to pay the award amount to the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>within a period of three months from today.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">                                                          K.
