Title: Need to address the problems of foodgrains exporters in the country.\n<\/p>\n

SHRIMATI V. RADHIKA SELVI <\/a>(TIRUCHENDUR<\/a>): People, both in India and abroad, face grievances with Government of India run undertakings and Ministry, approach Members of Parliament for redressel.. Members of Parliament being Public\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Representative take up the genuine issues with concerned officials. But the officials do not solve the issues and keep them pending.\n<\/p>\n

I had given representations to Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and FCI on the matter of increase in price by them on supply of wheat to exporters after concluding sales and receiving 100% amount from exporters in advance towards such sales. MMTC Ltd. And Crossland Marketing (2000) PTE LTD., Singapore had submitted refund of such increase in price from FCI. But FCI and Ministry did not act. Further, I had given representations to MMTC LTD., New Delhi on the matters of wrong collection of sales tax, market fee from Associate Exporters and decisions contrary to agreement such as holding storage rental charges, difference in CHA rates. Because of wrong decisions and inactions of Government Departments and Public Sector Undertakings, public lose confidence on Indian Bureaucracy and Members of Parliament, Public continue to suffer.\n<\/p>\n

I request the Government to look into the matter.\n<\/p>\n
