The alteration in their status from &#8220;Government employees&#8221; to the &#8220;employees of a Local Body&#8221; has already affected their service career and conditions of service.  Certain rights granted by the Constitution to Government employees will no longer be available to them and many other disparities will also result in their pay structure and allowance vis-a-vis their erstwhile colleagues serving the U.T. Administration.  In the interest of justice, all such employees sent to the Corporation should have been treated &#8220;on deputation&#8221; while fresh recruitment in future could have been made directly by the Corporation.  I urge the Government to meet this genuine demand of these employees even now and treat them on deputation from the U.T.
