RAMACHANDRA MENON, J.\n              ........................................................................\n                    W.P.(C) No. 12921 OF 2009\n              .........................................................................\n                       Dated this the 28th April, 2009\n\n\n\n                                  J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      The petitioner has approached this Court                                     seeking for a<\/p>\n<p>direction to consider Ext.P9 representation filed by him which is<\/p>\n<p>stated as pending before the second respondent. The case of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is that          a sum of Rs. One lakh alone has been<\/p>\n<p>disbursed in respect of the compensation payable to him on<\/p>\n<p>account of the death of his mother in &#8216;Tsunami&#8217; which occurred<\/p>\n<p>on 26th December, 2004.                      It is further submitted that the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is actually entitled to get a further sum of Rs. Two<\/p>\n<p>lakhs as ordered by the Government of India as well as the<\/p>\n<p>Government of Kerala towards compensation                                       payable to the<\/p>\n<p>Tsunami victims.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      After hearing both the sides, the Writ Petition is disposed of<\/p>\n<p>directing   the       second             respondent                to       consider      Ext.P9<\/p>\n<p>representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) No. 12921 OF 2009<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">                               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>law within a period of three months. If the second respondent<\/p>\n<p>finds that the petitioner is eligible to obtain the amount as<\/p>\n<p>claimed by him, the same shall be disbursed within a period of<\/p>\n<p>one month thereafter.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">\n<p id=\"p_3\">                               P.R.
