Nos. 1816,1817,1821\n                             &amp; 2096 OF 2006\n                  --------------------------------------------\n               Dated this the 9th day of December, 2009\n\n                               JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">Ramachandran Nair, J.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\n<p id=\"p_2\">      The question raised in these Writ Appeals is whether the learned<\/p>\n<p>single Judge was justified in interfering with the provision in the<\/p>\n<p>prospectus issued by the Trivandrum Medical College providing 10<\/p>\n<p>weightage marks for those who studied in the said College for the<\/p>\n<p>purpose of admission to the Diplomate Course of National Board<\/p>\n<p>conducted by the National Board of Examinations. Under interim<\/p>\n<p>orders of this Court, all were allowed to continue and they completed<\/p>\n<p>the course.    Therefore we feel that those who have           successfully<\/p>\n<p>completed the course should be awarded degree irrespective of whether<\/p>\n<p>preference given to those who studied in Trivandrum Medical College<\/p>\n<p>was right or wrong.        We dispose of these appeals declaring the<\/p>\n<p>eligibility to get degree certificate by those who have successfully<\/p>\n<p>completed the course. However, we make it clear that this judgment<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">                                    2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>should not be interpreted as our endorsing the preference shown by the<\/p>\n<p>Trivandrum Medical College by awarding 10 additional marks to the<\/p>\n<p>students who studied there while making selection.
