Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :17\/<a href=\"\/doc\/1390448\/\" id=\"a_1\">11\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                          V.GIRI, J\n                        -------------------\n                     W.P.(C<\/a>).33061\/2008\n                        --------------------\n      Dated this the 17th day of November, 2008\n\n                        JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      Petitioner&#8217;s    grievance is regarding the non<\/p>\n<p>allotment of seats to the merit quota in the TTC Course<\/p>\n<p>offered by the petitioner. Admittedly, 50% of the seats<\/p>\n<p>in the petitioner&#8217;s institution which is the Self-Financing<\/p>\n<p>Teachers Training Institute,            is to be filled up on<\/p>\n<p>allotment by the Director of Public Instructions. Learned<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that out<\/p>\n<p>of 148 applicants in the Kollam District, five persons<\/p>\n<p>had opted for the petitioner&#8217;s institution, in the merit<\/p>\n<p>quota. Government Pleader further submits that at any<\/p>\n<p>rate, Government has now issued an order, extending<\/p>\n<p>time for admission to the TTC Course and permission is<\/p>\n<p>being granted to the Management of the Self-Financing<\/p>\n<p>Institutions to fill up the seats remaining vacant in the<\/p>\n<p>merit quota. Submission is recorded.
