Respondents\n\n\n        Writ Petition filed under <a href=\"\/doc\/1712542\/\" id=\"a_1\">Article 226<\/a> of  the  Constitution  of  India\npraying  for  the  issue of writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 5\nfrom implementing the variations granted in favour of the individual operators\nbetween the period January 1996 to May 1996  in  the  District  of  Coimbatore\ntaking  into  consideration  the  convenience  of  the  travelling public with\nreference to the petitioner's representation dated 4.4.2005.\n\n\n!For petitioner :  Mr.  AR.L.  Sundaresan\n\nFor respondents:  Mr.  V.Raghupathy \n                Govt.  Pleader\n                Mr.  Palani\n\n\n:ORDER  \n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">(Order of the Court was made by<br \/>\nThe Honourable The Chief Justice)<\/p>\n<p>        The  petitioner&#8217;s  grievance  is  against  the  variation  of   permit<br \/>\nconditions by order of the Regional Transport Authority, Coimbatore.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">        2.   Every order of the Regional Transport Authority can be challenged<br \/>\nby way of appeal\/revision under <a href=\"\/doc\/1264594\/\" id=\"a_1\">Section 89<\/a>\/<a href=\"\/doc\/1890426\/\" id=\"a_2\">90<\/a> of the Motor Vehicles Act,  1988<br \/>\n(hereinafter referred  to  as the &#8216;Act&#8217;).  Hence this petition is dismissed on<br \/>\nthe  ground  of  alternative  remedy  before  the  State  Transport  Appellate<br \/>\nTribunal.  If such an appeal\/revision is filed we hope and trust that the same<br \/>\nshall  be  decided  expeditiously  in  accordance  with  law after hearing the<br \/>\nparties concerned.  If any such appeal\/revision is filed under  <a href=\"\/doc\/1264594\/\" id=\"a_3\">Section  89<\/a>\/<a href=\"\/doc\/1890426\/\" id=\"a_4\">90<\/a><br \/>\nof the Act within three weeks from today, the same will be entertained without<br \/>\nraising  any  objection  as  to  limitation and shall be decided expeditiously<br \/>\nthereafter.  The Regional Transport Authority shall supply certified  copy  of<br \/>\nall the proceedings varying the permit conditions if the petitioner approaches<br \/>\nfor the same.
