Justice C.T.RAVIKUMAR\n\n Dated :09\/12\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n      KURIAN JOSEPH &amp; C.T.RAVIKUMAR, JJ.\n        ------------------------------------------------\n                  W.A.No.2339 of 2009\n         -----------------------------------------------\n     Dated this the 9th day of December, 2009\n\n                        JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">Kurian Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\n<p id=\"p_2\">      The appellants are not parties to the<\/p>\n<p>judgment in W.P.(C)No.26066\/09.                The appellants<\/p>\n<p>approached   this      court      apprehending         that the<\/p>\n<p>judgment in the said writ petition would stand<\/p>\n<p>in the way of their promotions being considered.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">      2.     After hearing the counsel on both<\/p>\n<p>sides and learned Government Pleader, this court<\/p>\n<p>had on 4.11.2009, issued the following order:<\/p>\n<blockquote id=\"blockquote_1\"><p>         &#8220;Notice.       It is made clear that the<\/p>\n<p>    judgment shall not stand in the way of<\/p>\n<p>    the vacancies available in the post of<\/p>\n<p>    Circle Inspector of Police being filled<\/p>\n<p>    up on the basis of the existing seniority<\/p>\n<p>    list    of     Sub     Inspector        of     Police.<\/p>\n<p>    However, it should be made clear in the<\/p>\n<p>    order    that      the     said      promotion       is<\/p>\n<p>    provisions and is subject to the outcome<\/p>\n<p>    of the decision taken by the Government<\/p>\n<p>    in  the     appeals.          There     will      be  a<\/p>\n<p>    direction     to    the     Government       to    pass<\/p>\n<p>    orders    on    the    appeals      on    or     before<\/p>\n<p>    31.12.2009.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"p_4\">W.A.No.2339 of 2009<\/p>\n<p>                       :: 2 ::\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">\n      In view of the said order, no further<\/p>\n<p>orders  are   necessary.     The   writ  appeal is<\/p>\n<p>disposed of in terms of the said order.
