BHAVADASAN, JJ.\n             -------------------------------------------\n                     W.P.(Crl)No.93 OF 2009\n              -------------------------------------------\n             Dated this the 3rd day of April, 2009.\n\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">Basheer, J.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      Petitioners and respondent No.7 are present in court. We<\/p>\n<p>have interacted with them. Adv. Mathew Kuriakose, the mediator<\/p>\n<p>attached to the High Court Mediation Centre is also present. It is<\/p>\n<p>heartening to note that the parties who are very close relatives<\/p>\n<p>have ultimately decided to forget and forgive. They state before<\/p>\n<p>us that they have decided to bury the hatchet, thanks to the<\/p>\n<p>commendable efforts taken by Adv.Mathew Kuriakose, the<\/p>\n<p>mediator.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      2. We are informed that Mrs.Daisy Thomas, the mother of<\/p>\n<p>petitioner No.1 and respondent No.7 is still in K.C.M Hospital,<\/p>\n<p>Nooranad where she was admitted on 28.11.2008.            Sr.Elsitta<\/p>\n<p>Theresa representing the said hospital had appeared before us on<\/p>\n<p>11.03.2009 and informed that Mrs.Daisy Thomas is undergoing<\/p>\n<p>treatment in the psychiatric ward of the hospital. She had further<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">W.P.(Crl)No.93\/09               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>informed us that the patient could not be discharged from the<\/p>\n<p>hospital straight way.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">      3. Petitioners and respondent No.7 submit before us that<\/p>\n<p>their primary concern is the wellbeing of Mrs.Daisy Thomas. If<\/p>\n<p>and when the doctor treating Mrs.Daisy Thomas certifies that she<\/p>\n<p>is fit to be discharged from the hospital, she would be taken to<\/p>\n<p>the Tharavad house. They further submit that the petitioners and<\/p>\n<p>respondent No.7 will share the medical expenses of Mrs.Daisy<\/p>\n<p>Thomas. It is also undertaken by them that none of them will<\/p>\n<p>cause any obstruction or raise any objection as regards the visit<\/p>\n<p>of the other to see the mother either at the hospital or at the<\/p>\n<p>Tharavad house. The above undertaking is recorded. Petitioners<\/p>\n<p>further submit that they are prepared to meet all other expenses<\/p>\n<p>of Mrs.Daisy Thomas.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">      4. We have spoken to the petitioners and respondent No.7<\/p>\n<p>at length. It appears that the present ill-feeling has arisen only<\/p>\n<p>because of lack of communication. We told the parties that the<\/p>\n<p>old lady has to be allowed to spend her last days in peace and to<\/p>\n<p>see her near and dear ones around her till her death. Petitioners<\/p>\n<p>and respondent No.7 assure us that this will be done.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">W.P.(Crl)No.93\/09              3<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">      In view of the above facts and circumstances and also in<\/p>\n<p>view of the intervening developments, we do not deem it<\/p>\n<p>necessary to issue any orders or directions in this writ petition.<\/p>\n<p>This writ petition is closed recording the submissions and<\/p>\n<p>undertakings of the parties.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">\n<p id=\"p_7\">                                     A.K.
