Hiranagar and District Jammu are facing great difficulties to earn their livelihood. The farmers who are residing in and around international Border are not able work in their agricultural land as for growing their crop they have to cross the LOC which require security check and half of their time is consumed in security checks.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sir it is a matter of great concern that from the Defence side the border line fencing is not based on ZERO LINE and as a result the farmers land remains out of Zero Line for which they are wholly dependent neither they can leave their land nor they have any source of income. Even they have been paid the compensation on account of their acquired land by Defence authorities for \u201cDITECH\u201d CANAL, MOUNTS and TRACKS\u201d. There is also urgent need to remove old fencing and old Naka which are not operative in any manner.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I would therefore urge upon the Government particularly Defence authority to take serious note of it and take immediate steps towards release of Compensation to the farmers of around 44 kms occupied area of PHARPUR to MARWA MADOD and around 35 kms occupied area of MARA MADOON to R.S.
