SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                ------------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C)No.5433 OF 2008\n              ----------------------------------------\n              Dated this the 18th day of February, 2008\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">     The petitioner is a business man, who is running a business<\/p>\n<p>of sale of ceramic tiles, sanitary wares etc at Kalluvathukkal,<\/p>\n<p>Kollam District. For the purpose of his business, he is engaging<\/p>\n<p>additional respondents 3 to 8 as permanent workmen to do<\/p>\n<p>loading and unloading work in the petitioner&#8217;s premises. Since<\/p>\n<p>for doing loading and unloading work registration under Rule 26A<\/p>\n<p>of the Kerala Head Load Workers Rules is necessary, the<\/p>\n<p>additional respondents 3 to 8 have filed Exts.P2 to P7<\/p>\n<p>applications for registration under Rule 26A. The grievance of<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner is that the 1st respondent is not disposing of the<\/p>\n<p>same although the same were filed on 23.1.2008.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">     2.    I have heard the learned Government pleader also.<\/p>\n<p>When applications under Rule 26A are filed, the 1st respondent<\/p>\n<p>has duty to consider the same and pass appropriate orders<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">     In the above circumstances, I dispose of this writ petition<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">W.P.(c) No.5433\/08              2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass<\/p>\n<p>appropriate      orders on Exts.P2   to   P7   applications  as<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from<\/p>\n<p>the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after following<\/p>\n<p>the procedure prescribed under Rule 26A.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">\n<p id=\"p_4\">                                       S.
