The Assistant Commissioner\n    Land Reforms\n    Thiruchirappalli.   \t\t\t..Respondents.\n\n\n\n\nPrayer:   This writ petition is filed under <a href=\"\/doc\/1712542\/\" id=\"a_1\">Article  226<\/a>  of\nthe Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ\nof  declaration, declaring that the amendment brought  about\nto  Section 22 of the Main Act (by Section 4 of the  Amended\nAct  11\/1996) inserting Sub section (2) to Section 22 of the\nAct   is  wholly  unconstitutional  and  ultravires  of  the\nprovisions  of  the  Constitution and  consequently  invalid\nliable  to  struck  down  in so far  as  the  petitioner  is\nconcerned.\n\n\n\n      For petitioner         :  No Appearance\n\n     For respondents         :  Mr.V.Manoharan, Government Advocate (R1 to R3)\n\n\n\n\n                          O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      This  petition has been listed under the caption  &#8220;For<\/p>\n<p>Dismissal&#8221;, since there was no representation on  behalf  of<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner, on an earlier occasion, i.e., on 13.11.2007.<\/p>\n<p>Even  today,  there is no representation on  behalf  of  the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner.
