PATHAK, AGP for Respondent \nNo. 3 \n=========================================\n\n\n \n\t  \n\t \n\t  \n\t\t \n\t\t\t \n\nCORAM\n\t\t\t: \n\t\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t \n\t\t\t \n\nHONOURABLE\n\t\t\tMR.JUSTICE J.B.PARDIWALA\n\t\t\n\t\n\n \n\n \n \n\n\n \n\nDate\n: 23\/02\/2011 \n\n \n\n \n \nORAL\nJUDGMENT<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">1\tRespondent<br \/>\nNo. 1 is a Part-time Lecturer in the subject of  Sociology, serving<br \/>\nwith  L.D. Arts College, Ahmedabad, i.e. petitioner No.2 herein.   At<br \/>\nthe relevant point of time,  the respondent No. 1   could not be<br \/>\nallotted  any lecture  during the Academic Year  2001-2002 due to<br \/>\nfall in the workload and, therefore,  she had preferred an<br \/>\nApplication No.  20 of 2001,  before the Gujarat Affiliated Colleges<br \/>\nTribunal.  The Tribunal granted interim relief in favour of the<br \/>\nrespondent No. 1,  restraining  the petitioners herein from<br \/>\nimplementing  the decision   of reducing  the  lectures of the<br \/>\nrespondent No.1  and consequent reduction   in the rank. The<br \/>\nTribunal, thereafter,  vide order  dated  12.7.2001 confirmed  the<br \/>\ninterim relief, which was granted  earlier in favour of the<br \/>\nrespondent No.1.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">2\t\tThe<br \/>\nsaid order dated 12.7.2001 passed by the Tribunal  confirming the<br \/>\ninterim relief granted  in favour of the respondent No. 1  is the<br \/>\nsubject matter of challenge in the present petition.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">3.\t\tToday,<br \/>\n Ms. K.J.Brahmbhatt, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners,<br \/>\nmakes a statement that, by virtue of  interim relief which was<br \/>\ngranted earlier and confirmed by the Tribunal, respondent No.1 has<br \/>\ncontinued to deliver  lectures at L.D. Arts College, Ahmedabad,  and<br \/>\nno cause of action now survives for the petitioners to pursue with<br \/>\nthe petition.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">4\t\tIn<br \/>\nlight of what has been stated by the learned  Counsel for the<br \/>\npetitioners,  nothing further requires to be done in the petition and<br \/>\n the same is accordingly  disposed of.
