Justice S.S.SATHEESACHANDRAN\n\n Dated :29\/09\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                   S.S.SATHEESACHANDRAN, J.\n                  -----------------------------------\n                  C.R.P.Nos.514 &amp; 515 of 2009\n                   ---------------------------------\n           Dated this the 29th day of September, 2009\n\n                              O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      These two revisions have been filed challenging the orders<\/p>\n<p>of the learned District Judge, Ernakulam, declining to accept the<\/p>\n<p>the two O.Ps filed seeking enhanced compensation for the reason<\/p>\n<p>of inordinate delay.   Claim for enhanced compensation by the<\/p>\n<p>common petitioners in the two revisions were moved under the<\/p>\n<p>claim petitions presented before the District Court contending<\/p>\n<p>that the notices issued from the Electricity Board could be traced<\/p>\n<p>out only belatedly. Admittedly, the trees from the property of<\/p>\n<p>the church were cut and removed during 2001.            The present<\/p>\n<p>parish priest could trace out the notice dated 5.5.2000 only in<\/p>\n<p>November, 2008, is the cause pleaded to condone the delay of<\/p>\n<p>1706 days to file the original petitions seeking enhanced<\/p>\n<p>compensation in both the original petitions.      The learned District<\/p>\n<p>not being satisfied with the ground canvassed dismissed the<\/p>\n<p>petition to condone the delay.         Challenge in the respective<\/p>\n<p>revisions is against the orders so passed by the learned District<\/p>\n<p>Judge declining to condone delay.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">C.R.P.Nos.514 &amp; 515 of 2009<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">                                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      2.   I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">      3.   The claimant is a church is the ground canvassed by<\/p>\n<p>the counsel and the petitioners are stated to be the parish priest<\/p>\n<p>and others in management of the church.
