The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.6.8.08 with the CPIO, DoP, Rewa<br \/>\n      (Copy not in file).   He wanted to know whether Mr. Avinash Mishra was<br \/>\n      employed under the handicapped quota and also a copy of his service book.<br \/>\n      The CPIO replied on 26.8.08 denying the information under <a href=\"\/doc\/223928\/\" id=\"a_1\">Section 8(1)(j)<\/a> of<br \/>\n      the RTI Act.    Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an appeal<br \/>\n      dt.26.8.08 with the Appellate Authority.   The Appellate Authority replied on<br \/>\n      24.10.08 denying the information under <a href=\"\/doc\/758550\/\" id=\"a_1\">section 8(i)(j)<\/a> and upheld the<br \/>\n      decision of the CPIO. Aggrieved with the reply, the Applicant filed a second<br \/>\n      appeal dt.11.2.09 before the CIC.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">2.    The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the<br \/>\n      hearing for May 29, 2009.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">3.    Mr. A.K. Jain, Asstt. Supdt. of Post Office, Rewa represented the Public<br \/>\n      Authority.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">4.    The Applicant was not present during the hearing.<br \/>\nDecision\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">5.    The Respondent submitted that information has been denied under <a href=\"\/doc\/223928\/\" id=\"a_2\">Section<br \/>\n      8(1)(j)<\/a> and under <a href=\"\/doc\/839514\/\" id=\"a_3\">Section 11(1)<\/a> of the RTI Act after taking a written<br \/>\n      submission from Mr. Mishra.
