RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J.\n               ---------------------------------------\n                     W.P.(C) No.456 OF 2010\n                ---------------------------------------\n            Dated this the 7th day of January, 2010.\n\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      In this case the petitioner is a student of 10th standard in<\/p>\n<p>Ramijai HSS, Nirmalagiri in Kuthuparamba.          The petitioner is<\/p>\n<p>aggrieved by the rejection of appeal filed in connection with the<\/p>\n<p>District level youth festival.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      2. The petitioner was a participant in the item Mohiniyattam<\/p>\n<p>in the District level youth festival held on 31.12.2009.      Since<\/p>\n<p>there was disruption of power supply, the petitioner requested for<\/p>\n<p>re-play of the item but that was not allowed and was placed in A<\/p>\n<p>grade. An appeal was filed alleging interruption of power supply<\/p>\n<p>which stands rejected and aggrieved by the same, this writ<\/p>\n<p>petition has been filed. It is pointed out by the learned counsel<\/p>\n<p>for the petitioner that the appeal has been rejected without any<\/p>\n<p>justification.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      It is seen from the averments in the writ petition and the<\/p>\n<p>order passed in appeal which is submitted before me for perusal<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">W.P.(C) No.456\/2010               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is substantial<\/p>\n<p>variation of marks between the first winner and the petitioner.<\/p>\n<p>Even though allegations have been made with regard to the<\/p>\n<p>award of marks, I am not satisfied that the matter requires<\/p>\n<p>interference by this Court at this stage especially since the appeal<\/p>\n<p>committee could not find any infirmity.      This Court sitting in<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/doc\/1712542\/\" id=\"a_1\">Article 226<\/a> of the Constitution of India will not be justified in<\/p>\n<p>interfering in a matter like this. Therefore, this writ petition is<\/p>\n<p>dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">\n<p id=\"p_4\">                                 T.R.
