No. 3045 OF 2007\n                 ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n                Dated this the 16th day of August, 2007\n\n                                   O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">             The    revision     petitioner,     who      was     the accused in<\/p>\n<p>C.C.No.76\/2002 on the file of the JFCM, Nedumkandam for an offence<\/p>\n<p>punishable under <a href=\"\/doc\/1823824\/\" id=\"a_1\">section 138<\/a> of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881,<\/p>\n<p>challenges the conviction entered and the sentence passed against him<\/p>\n<p>concurrently by the trial court for the said offence.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">      2.     Pending this revision, the parties have settled the matter<\/p>\n<p>and have filed Crl.M.A.No.8886\/2007 under <a href=\"\/doc\/177946336\/\" id=\"a_1\">section 147<\/a> of the Act for<\/p>\n<p>recording the composition entered into by them. The said petition has<\/p>\n<p>been signed by both the revision petitioner as well as the complainant<\/p>\n<p>and their respective counsels. The composition is recorded and it will<\/p>\n<p>have the effect of an acquittal within the meaning of <a href=\"\/doc\/1876710\/\" id=\"a_2\">section 320(8)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cr.P.C. Money, if any, paid by the revision petitioner pursuant to orders,<\/p>\n<p>if any, passed by the lower appellate court shall be refunded to the<\/p>\n<p>revision petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      This revision petition is disposed of as above.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">                                                       (V.
