( Oral )<\/p>\n<p>             The petitioners, who are residents of Village Jansua, Badal<\/p>\n<p>Colony, Tehsil Rajpura, District Patiala, have filed this petition under<\/p>\n<p>Articles 226\/227 of the Constitution of India, after a period of more than 10<\/p>\n<p>years, for quashing the notification dated 18.5.1998, whereby Village<\/p>\n<p>Jansua has been bifurcated in 2 villages. After the issuance of the aforesaid<\/p>\n<p>notification in the year 1998, 3 elections of the Gram Panchayats have<\/p>\n<p>already taken place.
