ANAND, J.\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">            The petitioner is an under trial in case FIR No. 268 dated<\/p>\n<p>22.8.2007   under    <a href=\"\/doc\/1560742\/\" id=\"a_1\">Sections    302<\/a>,   <a href=\"\/doc\/1144664\/\" id=\"a_1\">438<\/a>,   <a href=\"\/doc\/999134\/\" id=\"a_2\">149<\/a>      IPC,   Police   Station,<\/p>\n<p>Baghapurana.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">            There is force in the plea on behalf of the petitioner that the<\/p>\n<p>trial at the hands of learned Trial Courts appears to have been inordinately<\/p>\n<p>delayed. At the same time, the delay in the context is not of that proportion<\/p>\n<p>which would justify the release of the petitioner on bail just on that account<\/p>\n<p>only,   The petitioner, however, has a locus standi to clamour for an<\/p>\n<p>expeditious trial which the Court must afford to him.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">            The petition shall stand disposed of with a direction to the<\/p>\n<p>learned Trial Court to record whatever evidence is available on 6.11.2008.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution shall take steps to ensure that the maximum number of<\/p>\n<p>witnesses are    produced and examined on 6.11.2008.           If for any valid<\/p>\n<p>reason, the conclusion of the prosecution evidence is not feasible on that<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\"> Criminal Misc. No.M-21187 of 2008                           -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>                              ****<\/p>\n<p>date, the adjournment granted thereafter shall not exceed two days at a<\/p>\n<p>time.   Learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the trial itself by<\/p>\n<p>31.12.2008.If the learned Trial Court finds that the defence is causing<\/p>\n<p>avoidable delay, or is obstructing the conclusion of trial in any other<\/p>\n<p>manner, it shall notify the facts to this Court for further orders in the<\/p>\n<p>relevant behalf.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">            Disposed of accordingly.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">\n<pre id=\"pre_1\">September 26, 2008                                (S.
