HARI RANI,JJ\n\n           ==============================\n\n                    W.P.(C)NO. 22174 OF 2008\n\n             ============================\n\n          DATED THIS THE 21ST DAY OF OCTOBER 2008\n\n                             JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Balakrishnan Nair,J.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      The petitioner has approached this Court alleging that the police<\/p>\n<p>officers attached to Mararikulam police station are harassing him.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, his brother owes          some amount      to the 4th<\/p>\n<p>respondent. To compel the petitioner to pay that amount, the police<\/p>\n<p>officers are threatening him.    Therefore, this   writ petition is filed<\/p>\n<p>against police harassment.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. The learned Government Pleader, upon instructions, submitted<\/p>\n<p>that the petitioner was running an Onam fund.       Since at the time of<\/p>\n<p>Onam festival, he found it difficult to disburse the amount due to the<\/p>\n<p>subscribers, he borrowed Rs.90,000\/- from the 4th respondent. He did<\/p>\n<p>not repay the same. Therefore, the 4th respondent filed a petition<\/p>\n<p>before the police.    On realising that this is a civil dispute, the<\/p>\n<p>parties were advised to approach the civil court.          The learned<\/p>\n<p>Government Pleader further submitted that          the police have no<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC.22174\/2008                     -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>intention to harass the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>      We heard the learned counsel for the 4th respondent also. He<\/p>\n<p>denies all the allegations of the petitioner. Recording the submissions<\/p>\n<p>of the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is closed without<\/p>\n<p>prejudice to the contentions of the petitioner and the 4th respondent.<\/p>\n<p>                                   K.
