BASANT, J.\n\n                          - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n                           W.P.C.No.  295 of   2007  I\n\n                          - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n                 Dated this the 27th day of   February, 2007\n\n\n                                     JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">        The   grievance of the petitioner,   when the petition  was filed,<\/p>\n<p>was   that   no   effective   action   is   being   taken   on   the   basis   of   Ext.P2<\/p>\n<p>complaint filed by him before the first respondent.  It is now reported<\/p>\n<p>that, though late, a crime has been registered as Crime No.18 of 2007<\/p>\n<p>and   investigation   is   in   progress.     The   major   grievance   of   the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is now redressed by the action of the respondents after the<\/p>\n<p>filing of the petition.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">\n<p id=\"p_2\">        2.   The learned counsel for the  petitioner  submits that though<\/p>\n<p>a   crime     has   been   registered   no   effective   investigation   is   being<\/p>\n<p>conducted.  The accused has not been arrested.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_3\">        3.  The learned  Prosecutor submits that while it is true that the<\/p>\n<p>accused   has   not   been   arrested,   the   inability   to   arrest   the   accused   is<\/p>\n<p>not   on   account   of   any   insufficient   conduct   on   the   part   of   the<\/p>\n<p>investigator.     The   accused   is   absconding   and     inspite     of   the     best<\/p>\n<p>efforts of the police they are not able to  arrest the accused.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">W.P.C.No.  295 of   2007                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"p_4\">      4.   The   learned counsel   counsel for the petitioner submits that the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner   is willing to offer assistance to the police to lead them to arrest<\/p>\n<p>the accused.  The learned Public  Prosecutor submits that such assistance is<\/p>\n<p>most welcome   and the petitioner can point out the police the presence or<\/p>\n<p>availability of the accused.    The petitioner can do the needful.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_5\">      5.  Having been satisfied that the needful is being done, I am satisfied<\/p>\n<p>that no further directions are necessary in this writ petition.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_6\">      6.  This writ petition is hence dismissed with the above observations.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_7\">                                                   (R.
