Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :26\/<a href=\"\/doc\/1390448\/\" id=\"a_1\">11\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                            V.GIRI,J.\n                     -------------------------\n                 W.P ( C) No<\/a>.33296 of 2008\n                     --------------------------\n            Dated this the 26th November, 2008\n\n                       J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"p_1\">     Petitioners were employees of the Board and had<\/p>\n<p>retired on superannuation.     They are aggrieved by the<\/p>\n<p>non-disbursal of the entire amount due to them by way of<\/p>\n<p>gratuity. They had approached the Controlling Authority<\/p>\n<p>under the Payment of Gratuity and orders were passed<\/p>\n<p>determining the amount due to them. But they have not<\/p>\n<p>been paid the amount due to them by the Board so far<\/p>\n<p>and hence the writ petition.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_1\">     2.    Learned standing counsel for the Board<\/p>\n<p>submits   that  principal amount due to the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>have been deposited before the Regional Joint Labour<\/p>\n<p>Commissioner and undertakes to see that the amounts<\/p>\n<p>due to them by way of interest are also paid within next<\/p>\n<p>two months. Submission is recorded.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p_2\">      In the result, the writ petition is disposed of<\/p>\n<p>directing the 2nd respondent       to see that the balance<\/p>\n<p>W.P ( C) No.33296 of 2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\" id=\"span_1\">                                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>amount due to the petitioners by way of interest in terms of<\/p>\n<p>the orders passed in their behalf by the controlling<\/p>\n<p>authority are either deposited       before the controlling<\/p>\n<p>authority or paid to the petitioners within two months from<\/p>\n<p>the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
